That might be fine if it is my personal website, with 6,000-8,000 hits a month.Because they were violating the terms of service with their webhost. What the fuck is wrong with you that you think anything should be allowed on the Internet that violates a company's terms of service?
The sites we are discussing have billions of members with no competition. In my opinion, giving Facebook and other platforms the power to censor all their content leaves open a huge area for abuse. Just as we see today.
For four years, "fact check" sites, Facebook, and other platforms were giving credence to the Trump/Collusion hoax. Saying it had merit or taking anything calling it a hoax or taking it down entirely, which Facebook chose to do many times. Too many times and they would ban you for 30 days or so.
I don't have a solution. What we have today is NOT working, not by a long way.
