Much has been said about the bombing in Iran. Talk of Iran being able to produce a nuclear bomb within the next few weeks certainly made it seem like the bombing was needed. However, if the makings of a bomb were in fact at those sites, there would be increased levels of nuclear material detected due to the explosion. No such increase has been detected. Seems we blew up 3 sites and started a war for no apparent reason.

Iran has always forged ahead with producing a nuclear arsenal, any Western efforts just stalled it slightly. And even after current events, their nuclear programme will continue, albeit stalled slightly again. Tickling a regime with a few targeted hits never works, blasting their entire government off the face of the planet will be more effective.
