General who led assessment of US bombing raid in Iran and 2 admirals fired
WASHINGTON – Two admirals and the general whose agency oversaw the initial assessment of the U.S. bombing raid of three nuclear sites in Iran have been fired, defense officials confirmed Friday. Air Force Lt. Gen. Jeffrey Kruse will no longer serve as the director of the Defense Intelligence Agency, said a defense official who spoke on the condition of anonymity. The official did not provide more information about the decision.
