However, employing Dr. Mengele imagery, or 'Nazi' 'Hitler', 'Reichstag' comparatives to a public health measure intended to protect the populations of the world is wrongheaded. Very wrongheaded.

It trivializes the unimaginable tragedy resulting from World War II and the intentional barabarism of the Hitler Regime.

Some here today on this venue, 75'sh years later, think trotting out swastikas, Hitler pics, and 'boxcar' metaphors.....is just amusing internet behavior. It's not.

It uses the destructions and evil of the Nazi regime (26 million dead in the Soviet Union; nearly 8 million dead in Germany; nearly 6 million dead in Poland)...as a punchline to score quibble-points on the internet.

In my view, it is disrespectful to all of the dead mentioned above.

And the 'Mengele' or 'boxcar' metaphors is an attempt to minimize and 'humor'-ize... the millions of Jews shot/starved/gassed in places like Babi Yar,Treblinka, Birkenau.
