Another one bites the dust.
Next in line will be the newest target.

Iran’s top intelligence official has been killed in strikes by the US and Israel, both sides have confirmed.

Major General Majid Khademi died in an attack ā€˜at dawn today’, according to a statement from the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) which was released before either the US or Israel made an announcement.

Meaningless. All the intelligence gathering is done by the people under him and apparently they aren't dead.

Gathered Intelligence is worthless if it isn't disseminated to those who can use it, and those people are dying off every day.

Iranian Intelligence is an oxymoron. If they were smart, the remnants of the Regime would have gotten out of dodge like the Syrian Regime did two years ago.

But why use the word "assassinated"?

Would that word have been used of the USAF killed Uncle Ho in a raid in N. Vietnam?

It would seem to me that "enemy intel head killed" would be more appropriate.

I guess it's an MSM thing.

This is starting to feel like what Israel does monthly with Hezbullah and Hamas. Thats fine and all, but don't need us.

The Iranians could not shoot the American equivalent because the US Zionists decided not to use Intel support --- it is their Unique Selling Point (USP) , in this drive to win a first conflict .
And they are doing ever so well to keep up with the clever and smart Cheeky Chappies .

Obviously the Israelis and US Zionists have been humiliated in these first few weeks but they are really hoping to improve with practise .
The ground troop offensive was a disaster -- but they made up a lovely little story about it being a rescue mission for one man who was lost on some charity event .
Shame .
Cost them lots of men and around a dozen planes in total .

But it was for Charity .

ā€œUnfortunately, our strike destroyed the enemy's general staff, which significantly boosted the effectiveness of the enemy fleet...ā€ (c) from some book

Generally speaking, older people are not inclined to radically change their line of work or achieve impressive success in a new role.

Those peacetime commanders focus on avoiding incidents and presenting themselves and their troops well to their superiors. It is not those, who destroy equipment and personnel during exercises simulating combat. who advance in their careers, but those whose soldiers’ parade uniforms look best and whose grass is painted green.

ā€œThose who ask questions don’t advance in the service.ā€
But in wartime, none of that matters—what’s needed are fanatics obsessed with destroying the enemy, the kind who are weeded out early on in peacetime.

These are two different kinds of activities, and those who succeed in one, must be geniuses to succeed in the other.
