Sure though I fail to see how that’s relevant the comparison. The problems that we will deal with regarding the current campaign against Iran are completely different than Vietnam. We aren’t even fighting the same type of war in Iran vs Vietnam. It’s not even close. And I’m not talking about the tech difference owns then. Vietnam was an asymmetrical insurgency similar to Afghanistan and post invasion Iraq. The war with Iran even if we ended up invading it would be a conventional style war, that would likely spread and potentially start a regional or global type conflict.
