But there is a mountain of evidence that companies hire blacks because just because they want to show they've got black people on the books as a PR point. The company I work for does it too. And guess what...some of them certainly ARE qualified...but many are not...because they weren't hired for their qualifications. About half of our top level managers are black. The only one who is really qualified and makes sound decisions is a Kenyan Muslim male. Our second in command is a black WOMAN. She's nice and actually likeable...but she's as dumb as a brick. If you go to her with any problem you'd be better off consulting Google AI.

When you hire someone just to prove you have diversity in your ranks, it's hit or miss. You'll end up with some real clueless, useless individuals who are a liability as much as an asset to your business if not moreso.
