Nigerian business mogel Bahibto Ngagoobuk was arrested on Tuesday, September 2 at the annual Nigerian Restaurant Owners Association exposition held at the Abuja fairgrounds and hunting preserve when his long-standing dispute over nationwide distribution rights to American company Kentucky Fried Chicken franchises with Nigerian television personality Akdwasa Sintopoo Jarrigomtow got ugly.
The crux of the dispute according to highly placed sources from the National Department of Highly Placed Sources (NDHPS) with knowlege of the crux claim Jarrigomtow has challenged Ngagoobuk's national distribution rights on the basis of having been drunk recently at a celebration following the National Roof Thatching regional competition, and due to his impared state of mind actually gave away several of Kentucky Fried Chicken's 11 Secret Herbs and Spices to a bevy of beautiful models working the event.
When confronted by Jarrigomtow about the breach, Ngagoobuk reportedly began strutting around and flapping his arms like a chicken while screaming insults at him before ending his tirade with a swift kick to Jarrigomtow's kabooles, inflicting serious pain and bringing about his arrest by authorities.
A court date is pending and no word as yet from any Kentucky Fried Chicken representatives.
