Nice dictator-ish move by Trump

He told republicans what he wanted. Which is what he can do.

Of course he had a right to, we all do as Americans.

What a fascist thing to suggest that we have no right to meddle in the affairs of govt! Geez
No, in my view, it's reasonable.

Before Trump is done the "whirlwind" will be turned on his MAGA herd, because loyalty means nothing to him.

You'll learn that the hard way.

Well, allow me to clarify the term 'engage'. By my use of that term, I mean to continue in a rational discourse in such a way as to move the discussion forward, either by confirmation/agreement, constructive discussion, and/or debate. Explaining that "I do not engage with morons', does not equal 'forwarding the discourse'.

Are we clear on that point?
you voted for scamala, there isn't a larger moron!

Well, if the Senate had acted on good faith as the founders wanted, they would have convicted him during his impeachments, the evidence was clear, yet they chose to be partisan (they did the right thing during Nixon, so there is no reason why the system couldn't work as it should have worked) and then we wouldn't be having this conversation. Also, the SC would have ruled that he committed an insurrection, and until the 14th amendment, is disqualified to take office. See, a democracy is only as good as the good faith intent of it's members. Other than that, there is no solution. EVery democracy is subject to malintent by bad actors.

No, in my view, it's reasonable.
I am sure you do, hence why the American people rejected your view.

To suggest that Americans can't meddle in Govt is absurd. It's even more absurd to suggest that the President-Elect can't express his opinion, let a lone to his own party.

So he doesn't want Biden rushing in a bunch of appointments, yet they did just that in their last few weeks in office. Also, he wants the senate to go on a 10 day 'recess', the minimum required for recess appointments, which do not require senate hearings, etc.

Oh yeah, Trump is a dictator, he has no use for the senate, the supreme court and whatever levers he can pull to give him absolute power or anything in that direction, he's going to take it. This is not a man to whom one could attribute the concept of 'good faith' to, no, this is a bad actor, all the way.

Any Republican Senator seeking the coveted LEADERSHIP position in the United States Senate must agree to Recess Appointments (in the Senate!), without which we will not be able to get people confirmed in a timely manner. Sometimes the votes can take two years, or more. This is what they did four years ago, and we cannot let it happen again. We need positions filled IMMEDIATELY! Additionally, no Judges should be approved during this period of time because the Democrats are looking to ram through their Judges as the Republicans fight over Leadership. THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE. THANK YOU! -- DJT

Not only is it acceptable, count on it. You're not president, yet, nor do you have a majority in the Senate, yet. So, Biden, get to work with those appointments!!!

A dictator move by Trump? Hmmm, that means Trump is trying to appeal to democrats.
