Nice dictator-ish move by Trump

Trum; is deliberately Avoiding the Senate's constitutional participation. Biden is president until Jan 20, he has a constitutional right to make appointments.
How’s he avoiding it? He has a right to encourage the senate not to approve his appointments, and the senate doesn’t have to

He never told xiden he couldn’t make any lame duck nominations

This is not a man to whom one could attribute the concept of 'good faith' to, no, this is a bad actor, all the way.

If we still had the Republic as envisioned by the founders? Yeah, you are probably correct.

OTH? As most see it, we are now a democracy run by an oligarchy.

What is the best way to remedy that?

Oh yeah, Trump is a dictator, he has no use for the senate, the supreme court and whatever levers he can pull to give him absolute power or anything in that direction, he's going to take it. This is not a man to whom one could attribute the concept of 'good faith' to, no, this is a bad actor, all the way.
Yeah, we're witnessing a more aggressive power grab than we've ever seen in this country.

There have certainly been increases in legislative activity and influence in the past, but this is structural and human. This is literally controlling who is where, what they are allowed to do, their personal loyalty, and what they must do or else. At every level of government. We've never seen this. Not even close.

Just another parallel to the past, and it's still a little difficult to believe that it has happened here.

So he doesn't want Biden rushing in a bunch of appointments, yet they did just that in their last few weeks in office. Also, he wants the senate to go on a 10 day 'recess', the minimum required for recess appointments, which do not require senate hearings, etc.

Any Republican Senator seeking the coveted LEADERSHIP position in the United States Senate must agree to Recess Appointments (in the Senate!), without which we will not be able to get people confirmed in a timely manner. Sometimes the votes can take two years, or more. This is what they did four years ago, and we cannot let it happen again. We need positions filled IMMEDIATELY! Additionally, no Judges should be approved during this period of time because the Democrats are looking to ram through their Judges as the Republicans fight over Leadership. THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE. THANK YOU! -- DJT

Not only is it acceptable, count on it. You're not president, yet, nor do you have a majority in the Senate, yet. So, Biden, get to work with those appointments!!!

Stumbling *Joe can’t even walk on sand. He isn’t in charge of anything and hasn’t been for years.

Nope. You saw it during eight years of the big eared Kenyan. You just liked it then.

Before Trump is done the "whirlwind" will be turned on his MAGA herd, because loyalty means nothing to him.

You'll learn that the hard way.
Think of how embarrassed you will be when you are proven wrong by trump keeping his promises

Libs, progressives, fence jockeys (aka fake non partisans) , and other lefty losers can only hope that trump is kidding about draining the swamp

Because otherwise your shit us in the wind

Not a power grab, but a power given, by the people (wisely or not), as it was decided at the polls, by the people. You should take a wait and see approach.

Not to worry. Biden's deep state will be replaced with Trump's deep state.

We'll see if the GOP Senate whimpers in servitude when The Subhuman cracks the whip.

By guess is they will except for a hanfull because most of them are gutless.

There is a possibility of descent in both the House and the Senate, despite the majorities. There are still some RINOs there. Also, Republicans tend to think for themselves, unlike Democratic congressional and judicial sheep that very, very rarely stray from the party line and nearly always vote lockstep.

What do you expect Republicans to do when they win everything? Are the supposed to cower to the lefties who would do no such thing if they have the power. Democrats want unitiy now, but I can asssure you that there would be absolutely no calls for unity if the roles were reversed. They would trample the Constitution if possible, which Republicans will not do.

You hate Trump, we get it, but you will be better off with him. You may not ever realize it, but you can thank all of us later for saving you from a Harris presidency, which would have been a raging dumpster fire.

Of course. Nothing happens unless and until it happens.

And I learned in 2016 that America isn't what I thought it was, and I've come to terms with that as well.

OP is a lying douche.
Are you claiming trump didn't write this, nitwit?

I was wondering when I'd see the first use of that twisted rationale. When people voted their pocketbooks do you really think it was a tacit approval of trump bypassing the "advise and consent" function the Senate traditionally performs and allow trump to name cabinet appointees without confirmation hearings?
