A report in the New York Times tells that the white nationalist group, White Lives Matter, has been labeled a hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center. This news will come as no surprise to people of reason. But, it will cause another mental meltdown by Trump fans and many Christian conservatives. Why, because the SPLC recognizes the typically negative characteristics of organizations like White Lives Matter, and keeps careful tabs on these dangerous extremist groups within the U.S.
In a statement to the New York Times, director of the Intelligence Project at the SPLC in Montgomery, Ala., Heidi Beirich explained, the opposition to the Black Lives Matter movement by the White Lives Matter organization proved to the SPLC they were nothing but a gang of white supremacists. This is in addition to information on the White Lives Matter website that states they are, “dedicated to the preservation of the white race.”
Donald Trump’s openly racist presidential campaign has become the motivating force in giving these racist groups a belief their objectionable and obscene agenda has a place in U.S. politics. The enthusiasm by the white crowds at his rallies has given such hate groups as White Lives Matter and the Ku Klux Klan a perceived level of legitimacy among certain ignorant factions of the American public not seen in this nation for half-a-century.
Hopefully, after Hillary Clinton defeats Trump in the coming election, the many racists inspired by The Donald will slither back under the rocks where they lived for the past several decades, and take the rest of the Trump supporters with them.
