What happened to neo-confederate libertarians?
So the things we know about Lincoln were made up?
Like that he had an arrest warrant put out for a chief justice?
Or that he unconstitutionally and unilaterally suspended habeas corpus?
Or that he arrested journalists by executive order?
Or that was wasn't an abolitionist?
Or that he couldn't have cared less about the slaves politically?
Or that he confiscated private property, including firearms?
Or that he launched an invasion without congressional consent?
Or that he spent years in the trench as a staunch supporter of the
American System of protectionist tariffs, tax subsidies to corporations, and centralized banking?
Or that he hypocritically said this Any people anywhere, being inclined and having the power, have the right to rise up and shake off the existing government, and form a new one that suits them better. This is a most valuable, a most sacred right --a right which we hope and believe is to liberate the world. Nor is the right confined to cases I which the whole people of an existing government may choose to exercise it. Any portion of such people, that can, may revolutionize, and make their own of so much of the territory as they inhabit.
That propaganda?
