Nelson Mandela should have history view him as a it does in the effect of a peace creating man.

However, history should also view him as a failed President. He inherited a 1st world nation like economy, the best in Africa and he ran it into the ground. Now its a failed state with much more poverty, much more violence, much more crime and one of the worst AIDS epidemics in the world!

His legacy as a mostly peaceful liberator is just, but so is his failed presidency also!
