Oil people do not WANT to sell more because it brings the price of Oil down, meaning that they make no extra money, but they do have to get rid of their supplies. Why would anyone want to sell more if you are making the same amount of money but getting rid of what makes you the money?

Oil people are happy and want to stay happy with the higher oil and gasoline prices, given that people have to drive even if it costs them more to do so!
