Nearly a quarter of Boston public high school students not logging into classes daily as course failure rates rise

Should the public schools offer the students a repeat year with no penalty (2020-21 grades expunged)? Obviously, many of them are not receptive to this sort of learning, while others are doing the work and progressing almost normally. If the former group goes to the next grade pretending that they have completed the prior years' coursework, they will be forever compromised, one way or another.

Sports is another question, but academically, I think this is a necessary step.

Why do you pretend to know what goes on in the schools if you haven't been in one in so long?

EVERYBODY knows what goes on in the schools, and it's real bad. Constant news articles, constant books.

Read something. It can't hurt you.

Unless you went to public schools recently and can't read very well.

When was the last time you were in a school? Check those articles, and books! They are about schools in lib dominated inner city schools. I used to teach in one for three years until the principal and had a major disagreement over student discipline. I left and never looked back.
