Navy set to rename USNS Harvey Milk, mulls new names for other ships named for civil rights leaders

Just noting your bigotry and delusions.

You are going to set the precedent that you can rename ships for partisan reasons, then you better be okay with where this leads.

Because I disagree with a ship being named after someone who was discharged from the Navy under less than honorable makes me a bigot?

Gfy ya bawl baby leftist asshole

I’m not really for or against this, I think Harvey Milk was overrated at best. Sounds like they’re gonna be looking at renaming all the ships that were named under that class of ships.
To avoid the bad luck of changing a ship's name, doesn't one have to have a virgin piss in the bilges?

Can the US find a navy ship class worth of virgins?

Aw man, another emotional liberal chimes in.

Right as my caffiene high wears off. Damn.

Do you really think China is afraid of a ship named "Harvey Milk?" Do you honestly? Do you think they take us seriously with that? They are just as aware of our history as we are. And they'll laugh specifically at people like you. Names and livery are also part of the intimidation factor, whether in the air with our warplanes, on the battlefield with our soldiers, or on the high seas with our ships.

Naming something like that "Harvey Milk" does not garner respect for our enemies, and no more so when they figure out why it was named that in the first place.

Why doesn't the man rename it to USS Liberty? I mean they do need a replacement.

Its a fast tanker. If it were a combat ship, the San Francisco would be appropriate with a nice WWII history. The San Fran was the flagship at the naval battle of Guadalcanal.
