i may have cross referenced the wrong “operation.” Or maybe the Danes used the same nomenclature.

Imma gonna have to go back and see what led to my (apparent) mistake.

Edit: it looks like I was wrong. Operation Arctic Frost has a not a name used by NATO memeber nations regarding Greenland as far as I can determine.

Some people did refer to the move by some nato nations to put a small number of troops into Greenland as “Operation Arctic Endurance.”

So, although my earlier reference was mistaken, I was close.

The troops are part of a Danish-led exercise, dubbed Operation Arctic Endurance, which is meant to demonstrate a commitment from European NATO members to defend the Arctic.

The US was actually invited to participate, according to Danish officials, who said the exercise was focused on countering potential Russian activity.
