I think this is the most interesting case coming up for the Supreme Court.
Every president since George Washington has used recess appointments. Ronald Reagan made 232 recess appointments, George W. Bush made 171.
But all of a sudden, when a black man makes 32 recess appointments, the process has become a constitutional question.
I think the founding fathers made a mistake when they gave the legislative branch the power to approve or disapprove of a president's appointments. A president should be able to install whoever he wants to run the executive branch.
