I found it funny when the DC mayor recently gave Trump credit for the greatly reduced crime but then went on to say that residents didn't feel safe anymore with NG troops all over the place, as if residents had felt safe before with the high crime rates.

In those inner-city areas, there are people a good percentage who have to live with the crime. They are stuck in the middle.
