The solution, in cities where there is a problem with inadequate policing, is to restore federal funds and allow those cities to adequately staff and train real police, not to try to make the nation into a police state (as is typical of totalitarian regimes.)

What your MAGA bumpkin ass doesn't realize is that these National Guard troops are embarrassed as **** patrolling the streets of DC, pretending that they are cops or wandering around picking up garbage.

Many of these National Guard troops haven't fired a gun since basic training and are completely clueless when it comes to law enforcement.

How do you know they are embarrassed....did you interview them, were you ever mobilized or did CNN tell you that ? The NG / RS follow orders and if picking up trash is for the good of the mission they do it and there is no shame there.

As for not shooting a weapon...the NG / RS activated for 2 weeks every year. When they Fix Bayonets they know what they are doing.
