Twenty years ago or so, Wall Street Journal published the most worthless article I ever saw.
The chief investment advisor of a major bank blathered on about valuation of internet companies, saying those with the highest valuations are the biggest. Something to that effect.
I countered that capitalizations must be determined by OTHER factors, such as, oh, price to earnings ratio, which doofus Obama misnamed in his address, earnings growth, and a multiple of dividend rate, for example. My letter correcting the Chief Investment Officer was published and he had no retort.

Then there was a mighty grammarian who said this guy's book "made the world infinitely more liveable in." He said just that. My letter was captioned by WSJ "Infinite Hyperbole".
I said "That would make it a perfect world, would it not? All this from a book?"
No answer from him either.
