After Failed Assassination, Democrats Observe Customary 5-Minute Pause On Calling Trump 'Hitler'​

WASHINGTON, D.C. — In a the wake of yet another failed assassination attempt against President Trump, leading Democrats across the nation announced they would observe the long-standing tradition of a five-minute pause in calling Trump "literally Hitler".

"This is a time for healing, reflection, and lowering the temperature. Specifically, five minutes' time," said Representative Hakeem Jeffries. "Ugh, this five minutes is killing me. Has it really only been thirty seconds? Time passes so slowly when you're not calling someone Hitler."

The coordinated pause began immediately after politicians had finished copying and pasting their public statements from the last assassination attempt against Trump. "We condemn political violence of all types, et cetera. Now, someone tell us when we can start calling Trump 'Hitler' again," said Senator Chuck Schumer. "The shooter didn't actually get that close, so should be no more than five minutes. If Trump had actually been shot, maybe we could be talked into ten minutes. Maybe. It's a big ask."

At precisely the five-minute mark, normal operations resumed. "Phew. Well, with that behind us, I think can we now all agree that Trump is a dangerous fascist who should be stopped by any means necessary," said Jeffries. "To be clear, for legal reasons, I am not explicitly saying he should be assassinated. I'm just saying he's actually Adolf Hitler and someone should stop him."

At publishing time, a few moderate Democrats had proposed extending the pause in Hitler-calling to a full seven minutes to "restore decency to political discourse."

I think the idea is to just refer to Trump and any other political opponent as Hitler, knowing that those in the community who are mentally ill or of slow intellectual capacity, who really believe Trump will end democratic elections and round us all up into concentration camps, will try to kill him.

The upside is that there is no official plot to kill Trump, thus protecting themselves legally and politically. But the downside is that the assassins are of low quality and, as a result, will probably not succeed.

But one almost did.

I turned on a TV program and there was Carville, center screen. Talking Slowly and being very choosy about his words. He was pretty subdued. I thought...either he was hunger of out and out drugged. I'd never seen him talk so slow.

The the camera pans out.....

Who's sitting there? His wife. Looking very stern and not taking any grief from anyone.

I loved it.

She dumped the GOP and registered Libertarian a long time ago.

That whole assassination attempt at Butler Pa was faked. High speed Dem-cams caught Trump squeezing one of those Hollywood blood capsules between his teeth squirting the fake blood on his ear and face.

Then he fell and snagged himself on a nail while crawling around on the stage.

Finally, they dragged Corey Comperetore's dead lifeless body on the stage and pretended he took the bullet for Trump just to make it more real, and Thomas Crooks was the inside man at the CIA who set the whole thing up that they had to silence in the end by putting a bullet in his scalp then burning the body.

Off topic but two not that wife but one named Marsha used to excite me greatly. Full bodied with a sultry bedroom voice!!!! And one named Jessica Tarlove drove me crazy too!! That voice, and pretty or so I thought.
