Relevance? The last time the US was debt-free was 1835. Since then the US has not been without debt. If you morons could read, I said, Does anyone believe in paying off their debts. I have to disagree on your premise. SS retirement is paid for by the recipients. Very few of which ever recoup what they have paid into the fund that the government chose to rob. I said it before the 2016 and I concur with Rand Paul that such levels of debt pose a National Security threat. Most of the West is in this position and it is going to be a major issue.
