In September 2017, Russia and the United States signed an agreement of intent to create a near-moon station, Gateway. Construction of the station is scheduled for the 2022nd, the accession of the Russian lock module to it - on the 2024th.
Russia plans to create own base on the moon. Lunar station can be created in conjunction with the countries of the BRICS.
