You must know by now that congress was debating the contested electoral votes at the very moment the rioters broke into the Capitol and caused the chaos. Or maybe you don’t know that because you’re not allowed to know these things.

To successfully contest the electors, they’d need majorities in both houses. That would require some house democrats to defect and vote against Biden. You’d have to be out of your mind to think that was ever going to happen.

Hell, it’s all but certain that Republicans couldn’t win a vote in the senate either since they had a very slim majority. Very few senators supported the objection, when they reconvened the objection to Arizona’s votes was rejected 93-6.
