The Supreme Court stopped the recount because Gore wanted to only recount areas that were favorable to him, thereby disenfranchising voters in the other areas.
Had his suit demanded a statewide recount he may have gotten that.
Nevertheless, every Media Outlet that had a spare dime commissioned recounts on their own for the next 4 years, no recount showed Gore Wining.

The Supreme Court also engaged in the 2000 election because the Florida Supreme Court was in violation of the earlier Supreme Court decision. Florida was attempting to change the rules (during the recount) on how votes should be counted(the hanging chads, dimpled chads) by assuming the intent of the voter instead of what was codified into law.

It doesn't matter what you think or feel. The rules and guidelines were established prior to the election, and Democrats attempted to narrow the counting to specific polling areas, change the established rules while recounting, and then thwart the Supreme Court decision.

Before any election, I do my due diligence, print out a sample ballot, research the candidates I'm not familiar with, and go prepared to vote. The electorate in this area of Florida evidently didn't do their due diligence, so it's tough shit for them.

President Joe Biden is expanding his effort to hang the Jan. 6 Capitol riots around former President Donald Trump’s neck.

Just days after he released an ad narrated by Trump critic and actor Robert De Niro titled “Snapped,” his campaign announced plans on Tuesday to field three of the U.S. Capitol Police officers who faced off with the protesters at Biden campaign rallies.

It is part of the president’s effort to portray Trump as erratic and a “threat” to democracy.

It comes as more believe that Biden is a bigger threat to democracy than Trump, who has claimed that the Democrat is weaponizing the government to undermine his campaign.
