Name That Tool…

And one last one for tonight.

To be honest, I am not sure what this is called. I know what use I saw made of these on a few construction suites where I've worked, and it does seem most optimally designed for that use. This is one I picked up, abandoned long after those who were using them had finished their work and left. What I am looking for is for someone else to make mention of the specific use that I saw made of this tool.

These two tools are interchangable [sic] but its [sic] uncertain which end to use.

I must take issue with you calling these “tools”.

By definition, a tool is useful; it can be used to perform productive work. I do not think that these come anywhere close to meeting that definition.

thats for cutting emt electrical conduit

Close, but not quite correct.
OK flexible conduit,, I have two of them,,

It specifically is for cutting MC cable. Ot would probably work fine on smaller sizes of FMC, since MC is basically just FMC with wires already in it.
I think I just have the designation wrong,,

I just called it flex conduit,, and I did a lot with wires already in it,,

With the wires already in it, it's Metal-Clad or MC cable.

The sheath itself, without wires, is Flexible Metal Conduit or FMC.
in my defense I am 15 yrs out from using it daily,,

its always important to know the proper names and designations when dealing in the mechanical field,,,

I can post up a shit load of tools most people wont recognize.
Tools can be very obscure if you dont work in a particular field.

Try me. Google image recognition usually finds a match.
Some kind of a leatherworking tool?
yep a leather tool,,,

Had to look it up. I've seen one but couldn't remember. Here's one I have that nobody will probably get....
