NAACP requires photo ID to attend anti voter ID protest march

You cant make this crap up..
Yup, that’s right. You needed to have a “driver’s license, passport, or other valid Photo ID” if you wanted to protest the evil Republican scheme to make sure you to have a “driver’s license, passport, or other valid photo ID” in order to vote. That is the liberal progressive mind in action.

I have always had to produce a photo ID when voting. The way things are going now, I'd be happy to see some kind of fingerprint system to cut down on fraud. One person, one vote - not one person, 15 or 20 votes.

That doesn't happen.

What doesn't happen? Producing photo IDs? It certainly does happen here. We have to go through about a half dozen "checkpoint" people before we ever get to the booth.

LOL! Now that is rich! To get into a black protest, the liberals want to make sure who the person is and they qualify to be in the protest. It's no hardship on the protesters though. If they don't have a valid ID, they have to get one somehow. No matter how much it costs because the right to protest is only for citizens and the organizers want to insure no one gets into this protest without their permission and proof of who they are.....

Wait a minute! You mean to tell me NAACP requires that ominous piece of paper that was too racist to prove you are a citizen is NOT racist or impractical or expensive or too cumbersome. The burden is not too great when it is required for a black movement but is a burden when asked for an ID to vote, which is open only to citizens.

Truth is stranger than fiction.

And, you want to see a badge, issue one first. Cart after horse, not before.

Hypothetical:

Pass a law in 2012 that ID is required to vote in 2016.

People show up in 2016 with no ID.

Horse came before the cart,

but the horse lacks horse sense , right?

To ask for ID you have to issue it first, like, say, Mexico does...

and telling someone they have close to 4 years to get one, so they can vote doesn't work for you?

It's not the governments job to take you to get an ID.
(tho most areas will do their best to assist)

it's up to you to get one, if you want to vote

I'm going to put money on your little rightwingnut blogosphere being either fully dishonest or misrepresenting it. like everything else spewed by the rightwingnut blogosphere.

Nope. Photo ID is new, voting is old. Voting wins, ID is just a good idea.

Driving is old, seatbelts are new

Against the law to drive without a seatbelt.
(oops, not a right?)

Guns are old, background checks are new.
Buying a firearm from a government authorized dealer without one is illegal

Smoking is old, smoking in government buildings is illegal.

New times, new rules.

Tell me, should you need ID to buy a gun, yes or no?

And, why not issue a national ID to the citizens here, like other nations do? Mexico can do what we can't manage?

Seat-belts are a good example BTW. We put them in the cars first, then required you to wear them, not the other way around.

To buy one from an authorized dealer, yes.

Illegals in California can get drivers licenses.

should we let them vote?

and if they can, seems everyone should be able to get an ID
