So now we understand that the NCAA can no longer prohibit schools from PAYING varsity, scholarship athletes for the profitable use of their names, images, and likenesses.
The conclusion drawn by most is that the Big Schools will not start inducing players to come to them by promising money as well as scholarships.
But what if a couple of the Big Schools (e.g., NotreDame) said, in effect, "We reject this" operating scenario, and at OUR school, the would-be scholarship athletes will be told that the free tuition (etc) is the end of it. That's all you will get if you come here.
Nothing preventing them from doing that.
Would that be deemed "racist" by the Progs, since only recruits from "prosperous/white" families would tend to want to go to those schools?
