I also saw something yesterday of a meeting of Kimmel with his lawyer and Disney/ABC inwhich it specific wording was in Kimmel's contract that forbade cancellation or suspension during the contract period, as long as he did not say things that violated specific FCC rules of exclusion. It is unlikely Dis/ABC could have won, if suit brought, using the contract Dis/ABC had negotiated and agreed to, in order for Kimmel to be on the air, in the first place. The number I heard pitched around for a possible lawsuit $1Billion Dollars. That, coupled with the backlash of people canceling subscriptions and visits to themeparks even, and the backing of huge number of Hollywood and noted conservatives supporting the 1st Amendment, may have changed a business dynamic.

All the 1st says is that "Congress Shall Make no Law" That's it.
