I accept your apology Emily and will endeavor to try understanding you better. But it's time to face reality. Whites have never practiced individualism and they don't want to practice it now.Now this is demeaning and insulting based on your preconceived notions or prejudice against IM2 you do not know in person or know his experiences.I know you are a failure in life, IM2, and that you see your only option involves these constant scams of yours involving using your skin color as a way to receive money for nothing through "reparations" for any of a number of things that have never actually happened to you, but there IS another way.
Have you ever considered learning a skill, instead, finding some gainful employment, and start working for a change instead of just whining and scheming as to ways you can get money without working at it?
IM2 is an extremely competent, effective and successful person with both the ability and luxury to argue on here and advocate using extensive research, knowledge and experience to back both the history and the dynamics of racial disparity and relations.
Just because we don't agree how to prioritize or present the blame for these problems doesn't mean IM2 is in any way inferior or lacking of skills!
Where are you getting THAT from,
except as an attempt to personally attack and troll someone.
IM2 is clearly competent or we wouldn't be having this very articulate debate over "white individualism" versus collectivism that is culturally manifested in African, Asian, Latino and Native cultures focused on community and cooperative economy.
Trying to master the best contributions from individual AND collective approaches, while preventing the abuses of either approach, involves equal respect and sharing.
Taking turns attacking and insulting each other back and forth only reinforces the boundaries or turf lines we already know exist.
If your point is to exert who is going to be the top dog in this fight, and who is going to bow to being insulted and bullied, I don't see IM2 agreeing to that.
We don't have to agree or respect each other's views and beliefs.
But we should understand that all people have rights to their beliefs and are going to defend them.
And that insulting or attacking someone just makes the attacker look bad or weak in deflecting and distracting from the real issues.
Clearly, IM2 is not going to change his mind or beliefs that white imposition of individualism is to blame for class disparity by enforcing a oneway bias.
If you can please address how can we expect to solve problems based on these biases, instead of trying to attack or undermine the credibility of people in opposition, we might make more progress!
Note: Apologies to IM2 for inserting my own pro-individualist opinion and perception here. If you can please put up with my way of communicating that you see as part of the white racist problem, I can certainly continue to put up with you "collectively" blaming me by classing me in with other white racists instead of using individualistic approaches to discern how I am saying something different from other white individualists who blame and discredit you for your beliefs instead of trying to work with you, as I advocate, given that you plan to keep those beliefs.
