I can't find the exact concert but I was dragged downtown by my brother and sister and only remember images of everyone standing, screaming and faint music. I remember being miserable. I did not live in Miami thank God

That's insane, that was my first concert too. I think it was 1984 or 1985. They played at Illinois State University. My second concert Aerosmith and Ted Nugent, in Norfolk, VA.,, next was INXS, Blaisdell arena in Honolulu, and after that was my favorite, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Run DMC and ZZ Top at Aloha Stadium in Hawaii.

August 77. Frampton and Seger were at their best. I was a big fan of J. Geils so, yeah 80,000 fan concerts were an event.

What's hard to believe today is it was $10 which was a good bit for a concert.

It was cool that they allowed you to bring in coolers full of beer and didn't hassle anyone about smoking grass.

But they charged an arm and a leg at $10 a ticket.
