I've been using a near zero THC, but high percent CBD to treat my prostate cancer for @10 years now. While there is potential it could kill off the cancer, so far it is holding it in check, keeping from expanding.Studies report that medical cannabis might help some conditions. Which conditions medical marijuana can treat varies by state. If you're thinking of marijuana for medical use, check your state's laws.
Whether you can get medical marijuana to treat a condition you have depends on the state. Conditions some states cover include:

What you can expect from medical marijuana
Marijuana is legal in many states to treat serious pain, nausea and other symptoms. How and when it can be used varies by state.www.mayoclinic.org
Medical marijuana has to be prescribed by a doctor and is a controlled substance. The amount of THC is very limited, enough to be an effective treatment but not enough to get high. I don't use it, but I got no problem with that.
Recently (several months ago) my source added CBG to the mix. I wasn't expecting it, but after about two weeks usage of new dose the arthritis in my hands went away.
In this state now prescription needed and retail of THC is legal.
