I've seen it happen in machine shops that have a bad reputation among machinists in town.
Word travels and before you know it they can only get the worst of the worst because good machinist refuse to work there.

That doesnt really help you much if it doesnt happen on a regular basis.

I hate to break it to ya but thats chump change.
I made more than that on a Friday and or Saturday when I was 19 while bartending.
I regularly brought home $1600 bucks every weekend and that was 35 years ago.

Word travels and before you know it they can only get the worst of the worst because good machinist refuse to work there.
