It may not even be the group owners. The server is owned by Cloudflare. Cloudflare has been unusually unstable this year.

Actually Spark, USMB is the only site I use. I joined here years ago quite randomly I guess because it was the top hit on my browser for political discussions and over the years I've looked at several other similar sites, but neither the sites themselves nor the traffic, topics and people seemed nearly as good or as active.

Usually, the topics left me wanting and I just didn't like the GUI.

OK, the caveat is that a lot of idiots attack this place for not being virulently Left, so over the years, I've gradually ended up with something like 150 people on Ignore.

People willing to discuss reasonably and factually, I don't care if they agree with me or not, but some people here seem hellbent on just trolling, insults, head games and BS as if they are just BEGGING folks to IGGY them.

And I am happy to comply.

My Christmas wish would be for our group owners to find a solution to the constant time delays this site suffers where one minute it works fine as it should, then goes into fits where it often takes a minute or more just to respond to a command to post a message or open a menu.

This site is where i get 'informed ' Toob........and what i mean by that is beyond the sound byte media mania.....yes one has to kinda parse out the wheat from the chaff ........it takes a little focus ......it takes one's time......that said my best to you/yours this holiday season...... ~S~
