My best memory from my kid's elementary school years was the school talent show.

It wasn't a play or an adult led orchestra. It was the kids doing whatever they wanted to do for the show. Some did skits they made up, some played musical instruments, some sang, some danced, some read a poem. It was all from them and it was great! I wonder if schools do talent shows anymore?

I wonder if schools do talent shows anymore?

If they still do now, everyone has to have the same talent, everyone has to be just as good, and it must not offend anyone based on race, creed or pronoun.

Yep, even 20 or so years ago, things were very different.

That's cool, but what I liked about the talent show was kids doing whatever they wanted to do at the talent show. It really was a great night.
