I had an Arab Israeli friend and I saw how he was treated and the difficulties he faced. In the 8 months I spent in Israel/Palestine, I got to meet Palestinians both in Israel (Tel Aviv and Jerusalem), and in the territories (West Bank and Gaza). The Palestinians who aren't citizens have it the worst. Horrible. The situation is even worse today in 2023. I was there 14 years ago.
