Dennis it is "Critical", & yet,...... There are many, many Prophecies, & Teachings that emphasize the extreme importance of Ephraim, & Manasseh, as well as the other tribes of the Children of Yisrael.

I absolutely disagree about one not being able to trace their Ancestry back to a Group of People., via Historical Documents, Archeological Finds,DNA, as well as Scripture.
Perhaps in Your Vast Knowledge,.... You can show where Israel's Prophecy (Gen. 48
concerning Ephraim, & Manasseh were fulfilled?There is a specific DNA marker for the Cohanim, part of Levi.

That's True Asher, as there are DNA Markers for many different Groups of Mankind, but,..... Not According to Quantril.
Thank God Almighty that he is not the "Final Word" in Researching the People of The Scriptures.

Exactly, but for the purpose of Jewish Rabbi's in Israel being able to identify where Ephrayim and Menasseh have migrated would of course assist in their being able to locate the latter day Cyrus who may be the same person that they call "Moshiach ben Yosef?"
My guess is that the following article from Jerusalem would not have been written unless something big was in The Torah Codes that Michael Drosnin explains about.

Cyrus the Great, King of Persia in the sixth century BCE, announced in the first year of his reign that he was prompted by God to make a decree that the Temple in Jerusalem should be rebuilt.

Cyrus sent the Jews under his rule back to Israel with a considerable sum of money with which to rebuild the Temple. The Sanhedrin plans to call on the two world leaders to take up this ancient Biblical decree and support the Jewish people in their holy mission.
Rabbi Weiss explained that the US elections have made the eternal Jewish dream a very real possibility.

It is difficult to pinpoint dogmatically when the prophecy of (Gen. 48) is to be fulfilled. It is future for Jacob we know. Because Jacobs blessing of the 12 tribes follows, and is based upon the 'last days', (Gen. 49:1), it could be in the 'last days'. But it may well be for the time when Christ returns and sets up the Kingdom of God upon the earth.
But, just as the prophecies in (Gen. 49) will be fulfilled, so will the prophecy in (Gen. 48). But as in (Gen. 49) also, today, we cannot identify the tribes of Israel to verify its fulfillment.

Sorry about Your "Difficulty",..... Myself, I found it easy to find Groups of people, who became World Powers, that could be traced back to the "House of Israel", especially One that became many Nations,
And I absolutely disagree that Yacob's Blessing upon Manasseh, & Ephraim, was contingent upon "The Last Days".
Gen 49:1 And Jacob called unto his sons, and said, Gather yourselves together, that I may tell you that which shall befall you in the last days.
Gen 49:22 Joseph is a fruitful bough, even a fruitful bough by a well; whose branches run over the wall:

First,....It's been My Experience from communicating with many Rabbis, of several different Sects in Yisrael, & here in America, that the Majority of them believe that they are "All of Yisrael". Yes, a few "Sects"/"Movements" say that there are still tribes that have yet to reunite with the "Jews", but they speak out of both sides of their mouth,.... They claim that these Tribes, will be "Jewish again".
Here's a Major Shocker "Kol HaTor” is one of these Double Talking Rabbis.
And "Kol HaTor”, despite it's proclamations, has very strong ties with Chabad.org
Secondly,..... The Old Testament Prophecies, and including Math 24:,.... Speak of only "One Being" appearing, not two, although Revelation does include the "False Prophet".

True, but so does Esau, & Yacob prophesied of what Easau would do in the regard to Yacob:

Introduction.
The British Isles were populated by peoples who to a significant degree were descended from Israelites.
Amongst those Israelites who settled in Britain we were able to identify several that are associated with specific Israelite Tribes.
Elements from the Tribes of Joseph (Ephraim and Manasseh) were predominant in the British Isles.
Several nations emerged from British Populations. Such countries include the USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, as well as numerous elements that were important elsewhere such as South Africa, Jamaica, etc.
Joseph had been divided into two Tribes, Ephraim and Manasseh.
It is agreed upon that the USA and Britain are separate nations.
It is also accepted that in general the other nations who came out of Britain (Canada, Australia, New Zealand, etc) are closer to Britain than they are to the USA. This is reflected in their being members of the British Commonwealth, their historical connections with Britain, their history of being automatically allied with Britain in every major war (up till now), and other aspects of their national characters.
Since Joseph was divided into separate tribes and since Prophecy indicates that they should be distinct from each other it is logical that the division between Ephraim and Manasseh is reflected in the distinction between Britain and the USA.
The question remains:
Which is which?
There are those who claim the USA is Ephraim and Britain Manasseh.
Others say that Britain is Ephraim and USA Manasseh.
We also consider the USA to be Manasseh and Britain Ephraim.
We identify the USA as Manasseh and the other "Anglo" nations along with Britain as pertaining to Ephraim.

With the formation of the USA most of Manasseh moved to America. Great Britain and offshoots from Britain represent Ephraim.

It is agreed upon that the USA and Britain are separate nations.

Jacob was renamed Israel. He had Twelve Sons who became the 12 Tribes of Israel.
Reuben was the firstborn but his Firstborn Rights were Given to Joseph (1-Chronicles 5:1-2).

Before he died Jacob asked that Joseph come to him with his two sons, Ephraim and Manasseh, to receive a blessing:
Genesis 48:
1 Now it came to pass after these things that Joseph was told, 'Indeed your father is sick'; and he took with him his two sons, Manasseh and Ephraim. 2 And Jacob was told, 'Look, your son Joseph is coming to you'; and Israel strengthened himself and sat up on the bed. 3 Then Jacob said to Joseph: 'God Almighty appeared to me at Luz in the land of Canaan and blessed me, 4 and said to me, 'Behold, I will make you fruitful and multiply you, and I will make of you a multitude of people, and give this land to your descendants after you as an everlasting possession.' 5 And now your two sons, Ephraim and Manasseh, who were born to you in the land of Egypt before I came to you in Egypt, are mine; as Reuben and Simeon, they shall be mine. 6 Your offspring whom you beget after them shall be yours; they will be called by the name of their brothers in their inheritance. 7 But as for me, when I came from Padan, Rachel died beside me in the land of Canaan on the way, when there was but a little distance to go to Ephrath; and I buried her there on the way to Ephrath (that is, Bethlehem).'

19 But his father refused and said, 'I know, my son, I know. He also shall become a people, and he also shall be great; but truly his younger brother shall be greater than he, and his descendants shall become a multitude of nations.'
20 So he blessed them that day, saying, 'By you Israel will bless, saying, 'May God make you as Ephraim and as Manasseh!'' And thus he set Ephraim before Manasseh.
21 Then Israel said to Joseph, 'Behold, I am dying, but God will be with you and bring you back to the land of your fathers. 22 Moreover I have given to you one portion above your brothers, which I took from the hand of the Amorite with my sword and my bow.'
Blessing from Jacob. His brother Manasseh would also be great
The Bible (Genesis 48:8-17) tells us that Joseph brought his two sons Ephraim and Manasseh to receive a blessing from Jacob.
Manasseh was the older and Joseph placed him to his left facing the right-hand side of Jacob.
Ephraim was the younger so Joseph placed him to his right facing the left-hand side of Jacob.
Jacob however crossed his hands over. He placed his right-hand on the head of Ephraim and his left on the head of Manasseh. He placed Ephraim before Manasseh. He did not however change the position of the boys.
Manasseh remained on the right of Jacob and Ephraim on his left. There are Rabbinical explanations that say the crossing over of the hands in some respects did not change the relative importance of the two but it did change the time schedule. From now on Ephraim was to receive his blessing BEFORE Manasseh.
Britain is Ephraim and has the characteristics of Ephraim. Manasseh was to become great AFTER Ephraim.
The USA is Manasseh and time-wise it did become great after Britain had enjoyed its power peak for quite some time.
In the blessing of Jacob to the boys:
Ephraim was to the right of Joseph facing the left side of Jacob.
Manasseh was to the left of Joseph facing the right side of Jacob.
The left hand on the head of Manaseh indicated that he too would be great but he would achieve his greatness AFTER that of Ephraim.
He would come to glory at a later date.
This was explained by:
The "Bnei Yissachar"(Tzvi Elimelech Shapira of Dinov (1784-1840).

In addition the very Hebrew text hints that Manasseh would become great later, i.e. at some time after Ephraim.
Jacob said:
# He also shall become a people, and he also shall be great; but truly his younger brother shall be greater than he, and his descendants shall become a multitude of nations. #
The expression "He also shall become a people, and he also shall be great" (Genesis 48:19) indicate (to our mind) by use of the adverb "also" that this would come to pass "also" at a later date.
Britain as Ephraim-1 Precedence in Time
Duration: 12 minutes 1st proof out of seven.
Joseph had two sons, Ephraim and Manasseh.
The descendants of Joseph went to the British Isles.
Britain and the offshoots of Britain are Ephraim and have the characteristics of Ephraim.
Manasseh was to become great AFTER Ephraim.
America was founded by the British and in a sense emerged from Britain.
The USA is Manasseh and time-wise it did become great after Britain with the British Empire had enjoyed its power peak for quite some time.
Britain preceded the USA therefore Britain is Ephraim.

Jacob said concerning Ephraim (vrs Manasseh), "truly his YOUNGER brother shall be GREATER than he, and his descendants shall become a MULTITUDE OF NATIONS (Genesis 48:19).
The word used here for YOUNGER is HaKatan which can connote "made Little".
The Commentators say Ephraim merited since not only was he the 'little' i.e. younger brother but he was prepared to 'belittle' himself. England agreed to allow the USA to direct the world and to take a backseat in exchange for Amercan economic support in prosecuting World War-2. Churchill remarked that Britain gave away her Empire to save the world. With hindsight we may say that such a process was inevitable anyway but it was not so obvious at the time. The willingness to belittle oneself for the sake of a greater cause was there.
Manasseh to be More Blessed materially!
There are commentators (e.g. "HaNatziv"Naftali Zvi Yehuda Berlin, 1816 - 1893) who understood that Manasseh was to be the more blessed of the two in the material sense.
The pre-eminence of Ephraim was to be one of chronological order and of quality of achievement.
The USA materially was and is greater than the British but the British Empire came to pre-eminence previously and helped civilize a good portion of the globe.
Jacob prophesied that (Genesis 48:19) Ephraim would be greater than Manasseh. The Commentary of the "NATZIV" Berlin ("Ha Emek Davar" on Genesis 48:14) analyzed the subject of Ephraim and Manasseh and after noting that in their camping orders Manasseh always preceded Ephraim and in tribal listings is always counted first he concluded that the relative greatness of Ephraim was primarily spiritual and that in the Natural order of Things Manasseh would have precedence. This description to some extent is applicable to the relative situations of Britain and the USA. The "NATZIV" Berlin ("Ha Emek Davar" Numbers 2
20 “Next to him [i.e. next to Ephraim at the head of the west side in the Wilderness Encampment] comes the tribe of Manasseh, and the leader of the children of Manasseh shall be Gamaliel the son of Pedahzur.”
## Even though Ephraim was the chief standard [when the Israelites wandered in the Wilderness] this was because the nature of Providence in the Wilderness was miraculous. The power of Ephraim is greater regarding the miraculous aspect of existence. Concerning the regular way of the world however Manasseh is greater. ##
The "NATZIV"on Numbers 13:11 (concerning sending one spy from each of the Tribes to report on the Land of Canaan):
11 from the tribe of Joseph, that is, from the tribe of Manasseh, Gaddi the son of Susi;
# Since they now needed to act according to the laws of nature the main emphasis was on Manasseh ##.; Here Hoshea [Joshua] was sent from Ephraim ("from the tribe of Ephraim, Hoshea the son of Nun, 13:8); and Gaddi from Manasseh but Gaddi is referred to as from the tribes of Joseph as well as from the Tribe of Manasseh. Joseph was divided into Ephraim and Manasseh. The Natiziv is saying that in this case it is as if the main emphasis is on Manasseh.

## In spiritual matters Ephraim had precedence, but in the ways of the world Manasseh was pre-eminent ##.
The prevalence of Ephraim is repeated in Jeremiah (31:9), "I am a father to Israel, and EPHRAIM is my firstborn".
Britain as Ephraim -2. Relative Self-Importance
Duration: 13.23 minutes The British are Ephraim. The USA represents Manasseh. Ephraim and Manasseh were the two sons of Joseph. One of the 7 major proofs identifying the British with Ephraim is the relative importance of material wealth and power that was to be enjoyed by Manasseh as compared to Ephraim. The British also evidenced the quality of national self-abnegation for the sake of world good. This was a quality of Ephraim. Jacob said concerning Ephraim (vrs Manasseh), "truly his YOUNGER brother shall be GREATER than he, and his descendants shall become a MULTITUDE OF NATIONS (Genesis 48:19). In the blessing of Jacob it says concerning Menasseh 'he too will be great But his brother [i.e. EPHRAIM] will be greater than him'.
[GENESIS 48:19] AND HIS FATHER REFUSED, AND SAID, I KNOW IT, MY SON, I KNOW IT: HE ALSO SHALL BECOME A PEOPLE, AND HE ALSO SHALL BE GREAT: BUT TRULY HIS YOUNGER BROTHER SHALL BE GREATER THAN HE, AND HIS SEED SHALL BECOME A MULTITUDE OF NATIONS.
'A MULTITUDE OF NATIONS' in Hebrew is 'Malao ha-Goyim', literally 'fullness of the peoples' meaning (according to Rabbinical Commentators) rule over nations or determine the very existence of other nations.
The British Empire once ruled over about 25% of the world's population. Many nations that exist in the world today only came into being thanks to British rule and tutelage.
This blessing to Ephraim to rule over and bring other nations into being was fulfilled through the British Empire.

Ephraim (according to Rabbinical Commentators) was to rule over the nations or literally determine the very existence of other nations. This was fulfilled through the British Empire. It is a proof that the British are Ephraim. The British Empire once ruled over about 25% of the world's population. Many nations that exist in the world today only came into being thanks to British rule and tutelage.
4. "A COMPANY OF NATIONS" to be fulfilled in Ephraim.
When Jacob blessed the sons of Joseph he invoked 'God Almighty [who] appeared to me at Luz in the land of Canaan" (Genesis 48:3).
Luz is another name for Beth-el.
At Beth-el Jacob had been blessed:
[GEN 35:11] AND GOD SAID UNTO HIM, I AM GOD ALMIGHTY: BE FRUITFUL AND MULTIPLY; A NATION AND A COMPANY OF NATIONS SHALL BE OF THEE, AND KINGS SHALL COME OUT OF THY LOINS;
This blessing was to be inherited primarily by Joseph (see also the Rabbinical Commentator, Malbim on this passage) and passed onto Ephraim.

The plain significance of the expression 'A COMPANY OF NATIONS' means several nations each with its own distinctiveness such as Britain, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, etc. Britain itself is comprised of smaller nations such as, Ulster, England, Scotland, Wales, and Cornwall.

This Midrash refers to the fact that the very name Ephraim connotes nobility whereas Menasseh connotes representative Accountable Democracy. Ephraim dominates Britain and Menasseh is prevalent in the USA. Ephraim (nobility, the aristocratic principle of government) still prevails in Britain whereas the democratic Principle is paramount in the USA.
Ephrati in Hebrew means someone from Ephraim or a Noble.

The second son of Joseph was named EPHRAIM whose name expresses the principle of nobility. Ephraim was to become the dominant Israelite Tribe in the British Isles. For better or for worse, Britain is distinguished from other nations by its monarchy and by its aristocrats.

The Hebrew word "hiphrani" translated above as, "caused me to be fruitful" based on the root "pri" (i.e. "fruit") may also be rendered as "powerful" and be linked to another root "PAR" meaning bull. The symbol of Joseph and Ephraim was a bull.
"John Bull" is a nickname for England. [In Biblical Hebrew a word may be understood to have two roots, i.e. to deliberately connote two separate yet complementary meanings].
Someone who belonged to the Tribe of Ephraim was known as an Eprathite i.e. in Hebrew, an "Ephrathi". This was the usual application of the term.
The name "Ephrathi" however could also denote a person living in Beth-Lehem of Judah! Beth-Lehem was in an area named "Ephrath".
Eben Shushan in his authoritative Hebrew dictionary ("HaMalon HaChadash", Jerusalem, 1979, in Hebrew) lists alternative meanings for the name "Ephrathi":
"#`EPHRATHI 1. [derived from Eprath meaning Beth-lehem] a dweller of Ephrath: "Now David was the son of that Ephrathite of Beth lehem Judah, whose name was Jesse.." (1 Samuel 17:12).
"`2. a member of the Tribe of Ephraim: "And Jeroboam the son of Nebat, an Ephrathite.." (1 Kings 11:26).
"`3. [similised] aristocrat, honorable [so used due to the Tribe of Ephraim who were considered the greatest and most respected of Tribes]: "Every prince and great man that arose in Israel was given the name Ephrathi" (Pirkei de Rabbi Eliezer, 45).
"For they were Ephrathites, dwellers of the land and considered of refined character and humility" (Haromi, 28 530)
"You are the sons of great men, Ephrathites of high birth, sons of the high born" (Agnon..).'#"
In Talmudic (e.g. Yalkut Shimeoni 1 Samuel a;77) and Rabbinical Literature (Radak on 1 Samuel 1;1) "Ephrathi" is taken to mean someone from the Tribe of Ephraim or of noble birth or both.
Rabbi David Kimchi ("Radak" 1157 1236) quoted (in his Commentary on 1 Samuel 1;1) from much earlier sources concerning the meaning of "Ephrathi":
##"In the mountain of Ephraim may be exegetically explained as (hinting at) greatness and importance. "Ephrathi" said Rabbi Yehoshua ben Levi means "Dweller of the Palace" [i.e. nobleman] and there are those [who explain Ephrathi to mean] an extremely great person living in holiness in Mount Ephraim.
In Britain there exist two basic classes, Commoners and Nobility. Membership of the Aristocracy is acquired by birth though gifted and/or rich generous commoners may obtain an "honorary" title for the duration of their lifetime. The Legislature is comprised of the House of Commons and the House of Lords that has some limited veto rights. The Aristocracy to some extent overlaps with the ruling elite and has easier access to higher quality education and to economic advantage points. In practice the average Briton probably feels he has as many or more rights and privileges as anybody else, anywhere. Nevertheless, the British system is basically an aristocratic one with good and bad characteristics of its own. The British system at its best appears to instill in its members a certain unique sense of duty and order and the ability to overcome all odds. The linguistic meaning of "Ephraim" may be taken as not only an entity governed by Aristocrats but also one in which all are aristocratic.
Nobility and the Aristocratic Principle are aspects of the British Character.
Even the "lower" classes in effect consider themselves dispossessed noblemen.
They are not against the system since somehow or other they feel part of it and benefit from it.
This is part of the British Character.
Regarding Ephraim being Britain an English historical work describing the national character of Englishmen justifies our claims:

Concerning Joseph, Moses prophesied [Deuteronomy 33:17]:

This is translated as:
"His glory is like a firstborn bull".
Our translation however is closer to the original Hebrew.
Ephraim who would hold the rank of firstborn of Joseph would be his bull.

That is how the Hebrew is translated in the New KJV and this translation more or less conform to how other Translations render it.
The original Hebrew however may be understood to say something like the following:

Together, they shall butt the peoples.
To the ends of the earth.
They are the ten thousands of Ephraim,
And they are the thousands of Manasseh.'
This is how we would paraphrase the verse as saying:
He will received his glory from the firstling of his bull [Ephraim];
And his (Menasseh) horns are immensely powerful as of a Unicorn:
Together, they will butt the nations.
They (Ephraim and Manasseh) will be together until the ends (extreme points when the Land of Israel is the center) of the earth;
and they are the ten thousands of Ephraim, that are multiplied a thousands times over together with those of Manasseh.
Manasseh according to the Midrash was represented by a unicorn.
Here (Deuteronomy 33:17) we have the bull mentioned first and Ephraim mentioned first.
Ephraim is parallel to the bull.
We also have the words of the Midrash that link Ephraim with the bull and the secondary meaning ("par") of the name "Ephraim" relating to a "bull".
England is connected to the bull.

BULL-CALF AEGEL
The Prophet Jeremiah likened Ephraim to an "aegel" which in Hebrew means a "young-bull".
Rashi said that "aegel" was a nick-name for Ephraim.
Jeremiah 31:
18 ' I have surely heard Ephraim bemoaning himself:
' You have chastised me, and I was chastised,
Like an untrained bull;
Restore me, and I will return,
For You are the LORD my God.
Historically this very name "Aegel" was a diminutive (favorite nickname) for the ethnic term "Angle".
The Angles, Saxons, Jutes, Vandals, and others conquered from the Britons the land that was later named "England".
The Saxons in England also apparently referred to themselves as "Angles" and identified as such.
On the Continent an Angle was referred to as an Aegel.

The Angles gave England (i.e. Angle-land) its name. The Angles were also called Aegels. The appellations Angle and Aegel were employed interchangeably. The Hebrew word for young bull is "Aegel".
Thus England may be considered "Aegeland" i.e. Land of the bull-Calf" i.e. l;and of Ephraim!
The English now nickname themselves "John Bull". parallel to "Uncle Sam" who represents the USA. Since the early 1800s the figure of John Bull has been used to portray Britain in political cartoons. John Bull was often shown as a fat, shortish, jovial, middle-aged, semi-affluent, good-natured character whom others may attempt to take advantage of but he will better them.

Obadiah says that the House of Joseph shall destroy the House of Esau. Rabbinical sources identified Esau with Rome and with Germany and sometimes with Europe in general. The Talmud says that only Joseph is capable of defeating Esau.
Edom gave rise to the early Romans, elements in Japan and Europe, in Russia, and in Germany and Austria.
Britain in the past and especially on World Wars 1 & 2 fought against forces that may be equated with Edom. Even though the USA also participated in the World Wars they came in later. It was the British who bore most of the burden and who were primarily responsible for seeking it all the way through.
It was they who fulfilled the task of Joseph to some degree.
Since Ephraim is more "connected" to Joseph than Manasseh this serves as another indication that the British are Ephraim.

Meaning of the name Angles
In 410 AD the Anglo Saxons pushed into Britain. They were made up of two tribes — the Angles and the Saxons. England (Angle-land) was named after the Angles. Angle is another form for Aegel and aegel was a nickname for Ephraim. Aegel means young bull.

Where did Ephraim and Manasseh Go after Captivity?
They left the land of Israel and went to Scythia. Here is the proof.
God sent Jeremiah to the Northern tribes to give them a warning. Remenber the book of Jeremiah was written during the captivity of Judah. The Northern Tribes had already fallen and gone into captivity. At the time of the prophesy, they were in the North meaning they were north of Jerusalem, which would have been Europe. They were actually above the Black Sea.
Jer 3:12 Go and proclaim these words toward the north, and say, Return, thou backsliding Israel, saith the LORD; and I will not cause mine anger to fall upon you: for I am merciful, saith the LORD, and I will not keep anger for ever.

They migrated from Scythia to Germany and Scandianavia. In the first century they were known as the Suebi. They actually occupied half of the territory of Germany. Suebi meaning “one’s own” people. Strabo wrote that the Suebi “excel all the others in power and numbers.”[19] He describes Suebic peoples (Greek ethnē) as having come to dominate Germany between the Rhine and Elbe, with the exception of the Rhine valley, on the frontier with the Roman empire, and the “coastal” regions north of the Rhine.
They origined from the islands near Norway and settled in the northern Germany near the Baltic Sea called Schleswig. In the Ohthere of Hålogaland’s account, a Norwegian account, tells of a two-day voyage from the Oslo fjord to Schleswig. In the historian account from Alfred the Great, the Angles came from the Islands near Norway. Alfred states “on these islands dwelt the Engle before they came hither”.<u><strong>[4</strong></u>
History of Bede, after the fall of Rome, the Angles split up and founded the kingdoms of the Nord Angelnen Northumbria, which is eastern England.

Manessah uses the symbol of the Unicorn. According to the MIDRASH” A UNICORN (Raem) was represented on the STANDARD OF MANASSEH son of Joseph, (Yair Davidy, The Tribes, p.220, second edition, Russell-Davis Publishers, Israel, 1999). The Royal Coat of Arms of the United Kingdom, or Great Britain, there is a lion, and a unicorn standing on its hind feet. Today, Manasseh — represented by England (east of the body of water we call the Atlantic Ocean), and Canada (west of that body of water) — still lies NORTH of Ephraim, the United States of America! In ancient times, the tribe of Manasseh was itself divided into two half tribes — one located EAST of the Jordan river, in Palestine, and one WEST of the Jordan river, and just NORTH of the Tribe of Ephraim. Interestingly, in modern times this same geographic position has been maintained by the descendants of these ancient tribes. Ephraim was a Bull. In Deuteronomy 33:17 a firstborn bull is followed by a wild ox [actually in Hebrew Raem i.e. unicorn]. America uses the symbol of the Bull. Wall Street has a symbol of a large Bull. Many of the coat of Arms for the states has a bull on it.
Ephraim is the 13th tribe
Ephraim was the 13th tribe because he was born after his brother Manessah. He was born last to Joseph in Egypt, after Manasseh, the 12th tribe. The US flag has 13 stripes, the US originally had 13 colonies, in the US seal we find 13 stars above an eagle, also 13 arrows clutched in his left claw, and an olive branch with 13 leaves in its right claw, with a shield of 13 red and white stripes. The number 13 is associated with Ephraim and with America! Ephraims symbols were an Olive Branch, while his second symbol is a Bundle of Arrows. The first will be last and the last will be first!
Further Proof:
Ephraim is always associated with the West. Ephraim would pitch his camp in the West with Manasseh and Benjamin. Num 2:18-22.
Num 2:18 On the west side shall be the standard of the camp of Ephraim according to their armies.
When you read Ezekiel chapter one. You notice that the image has four faces — face of a m an, face of a lion, face of a Ox and face of a Eagle. These faces represent the four tribes lead by Reuben, Judah, Ephraim and Dan. Reuben’s symbol was a man, Judah’s symbol was a Lion, Ephraim’s symbol was a Ox, and Dan’s symbol was a Eagle. You will also notice that the Ox is on the left side of the camp which is the West.

THEY WILL PUSH WEST
Both Ephraim and Manessah pushed westward. Mannessah pushed western to Great Britain and Ephraim to America. Notice that Ephraim was to follow the East wind. The East Wind moves West.
Hosea 12:1 prophesies: “Ephraim…followeth after an eastwind…they do make a covenant with the Assyrians.
Through Moses, God prophesied that Joseph would “push the peoples to the end of the earth” (Deuteronomy 33:17). Rallying to the cry of “manifest destiny,” the Americans did what Israelites have been doing for centuries: They moved west. “Go West young man Go West”.

Further Proof:
America out numbers Britain. American population is 250 Million compared to Britain which is 57 Million. “ and they are the ten thousands of Ephraim, and they are the thousands of Menasseh.” Deut 33:17
America was to be a land of Refuge
Our forefathers understood that America was a land of Refuge for the Christian people. So the eagle on the American Symbol represents the eagle in Rev 12:14. The eagle symbolizes a place of safety from the persecution that was going on in Europe and Britain at that time.
Deu_32:11 As an eagle stirreth up her nest, fluttereth over her young, spreadeth abroad her wings, taketh them, beareth them on her wings:
Purpose of Ephraim

“AND HE SAID, IT IS A LIGHT THING THAT THOU SHOULDEST BE MY
SERVANT TO RAISE UP THE TRIBES OF JACOB, AND TO RESTORE THE PRESERVED OF ISRAEL: I WILL ALSO GIVE THEE FOR A LIGHT TO THE GENTILES, THAT THOU MAYEST BE MY SALVATION UNTO THE END OF THE EARTH.”
The Lost Ten Tribes are linked with the Ends of the earth (Genesis 33:13, Isaiah 41:8,9,13).
Characteristics of the tribe
1) WINE-DRINKING:
It was claimed that Ephraim was to become a people who drank too much WINE (Isa.28:1). Wine is produced in abundance in the US, California, Oregon, etc. The British are not known as wine-bibbers, but their drink of choice is BEER — a completely different beverage. This again points to the US being Ephraim, in the majority.
2) It was claimed that: Ephraim was prophesied to become “joined to idols” (Hos.4:17). Idols abound in modern USA.
3) It was claimed that: Ephraim was to be a “mixed” people. God said “Ephraim has MIXED himself among the peoples; Ephraim is a cake unturned [burnt on one side, white on the other]. Aliens have devoured his strength, but he does not know it” (Hos.7:8-9).
Hos 7:8 Ephraim, he hath mixed himself among the people; Ephraim is a cake not turned.
Hos 7:9 Strangers (Aliens) have devoured his strength, and he knoweth it not: yea, gray hairs are here and there upon him, yet he knoweth not.
They began mixing early in their history in the land of Israel. In Judges 1:29 Ephraim did not drive out the Canaanites who lived in Gezer, so the Canaanites lived in Gezer among them.
3) Their pride continually got them in trouble. They showed their pride, jealously, and self-centeredness when Jephthah chose to fight (and defeat) the Ammonites without the aid of the proud Ephraim warriors. A civil war erupted resulting in 42,000 warriors from Ephraim being killed.
4) He also condemned “Israel”, meaning the Ten Tribes, “because they sold the righteous for silver” (Amos 1; 4-6).
Punishment Lifted
Israel’s punishment was seven years for every year they did not let the land rest. Israel’s punishment was 360 X 7 = 2520 years in fulfillment. If we count 2520 years from 718-721, we come to A.D. 1800-1803. America received the Louisiana Purchase in 1803. Her wealth and blessings took off from that point in history.
Ephraim in Prophecy
Ephraim will destroy Esau. Obadiah says that the House of Joseph shall destroy the House of Esau.
Obadiah 1:18 “AND THE HOUSE OF JACOB SHALL BE A FIRE, AND THE HOUSE OF JOSEPH A FLAME, AND THE HOUSE OF ESAU FOR STUBBLE AND THEY SHALL KINDLE IN THEM, AND DEVOUR THEM; AND THERE SHALL NOT BE ANY REMAINING OF THE HOUSE OF ESAU; FOR THE LORD HATH SPOKEN IT.”
Hosea 12:1 prophesies: “Ephraim…followeth after an eastwind…they do make a covenant with the Assyrians.” A “covenant” is an agreement or alliance. Since Israel and Assyria were never allies in ancient biblical days, this argues for a latter-day fulfillment. Is Ephraim allied to modern Assyria? Yes. Assyria settled in the land of Germany. The British and Americans have made numerous “covenants” with Germany via NATO, the European Union, etc. Hosea 14:3 adds that a time will come when Ephraim will realize it should have relied on God instead of its covenant with Assyria. It prophesies Ephraim will say: “Asshur will not save us,” indicating it learns that security comes from God, not its alliances with other nations such as Assyria.
Isaiah 27:12-13 prophesies that: “in that day…you shall be gathered one by one, O ye children of Israel…the great trumpet shall be blown, and they shall come which were ready to perish in the land of Assyria and the outcasts in the land of Egypt, and shall worship the Lord in the holy mount at Jerusalem.”
Proof Scotland is Judah
It was prophesied that Ephraim and Manasseh would go to war against Judah. This has happened many times. The Milesians who settled Ireland were a tribe of Judah. We know the Irish people moved into the land of Scotland. For further proof see our teaching on the Trojan Kings. Ephraim and Manasseh both lived in the land of Britain and for many centuries went to war with Scotland. Also many of the Scottish Irish people moved to America and settled in the Mountains of Tennessee. The American Civil War was a war between Ephraim in the north and Judah in the South!!

THEY WILL PUSH WEST
Both Ephraim and Manessah pushed westward. Mannessah pushed western to Great Britain and Ephraim to America. Notice that Ephraim was to follow the East wind. The East Wind moves West.
Hosea 12:1 prophesies: “Ephraim…followeth after an eastwind…they do make a covenant with the Assyrians.
Through Moses, God prophesied that Joseph would “push the peoples to the end of the earth” (Deuteronomy 33:17). Rallying to the cry of “manifest destiny,” the Americans did what Israelites have been doing for centuries: They moved west. “Go West young man Go West”.

Further Proof:
America out numbers Britain. American population is 250 Million compared to Britain which is 57 Million. “ and they are the ten thousands of Ephraim, and they are the thousands of Menasseh.” Deut 33:17
America was to be a land of Refuge
Our forefathers understood that America was a land of Refuge for the Christian people. So the eagle on the American Symbol represents the eagle in Rev 12:14. The eagle symbolizes a place of safety from the persecution that was going on in Europe and Britain at that time.

Purpose of Ephraim
[Isaiah 49:6]

The Lost Ten Tribes are linked with the Ends of the earth (Genesis 33:13, Isaiah 41:8,9,13).
The Northern Tribes are lead by Ephraim
Eze 37:16 Moreover, thou son of man, take thee one stick, and write upon it, For Judah, and for the children of Israel his companions: then take another stick, and write upon it, For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim, and for all the house of Israel his companions:Characteristics of the tribe
1) WINE-DRINKING:
It was claimed that Ephraim was to become a people who drank too much WINE (Isa.28:1). Wine is produced in abundance in the US, California, Oregon, etc. The British are not known as wine-bibbers, but their drink of choice is BEER — a completely different beverage. This again points to the US being Ephraim, in the majority.
2) It was claimed that: Ephraim was prophesied to become “joined to idols” (Hos.4:17). Idols abound in modern USA.
3) It was claimed that: Ephraim was to be a “mixed” people. God said “Ephraim has MIXED himself among the peoples; Ephraim is a cake unturned [burnt on one side, white on the other]. Aliens have devoured his strength, but he does not know it” (Hos.7:8-9).
Hos 7:8 Ephraim, he hath mixed himself among the people; Ephraim is a cake not turned.
Hos 7:9 Strangers (Aliens) have devoured his strength, and he knoweth it not: yea, gray hairs are here and there upon him, yet he knoweth not.
They began mixing early in their history in the land of Israel. In Judges 1:29 Ephraim did not drive out the Canaanites who lived in Gezer, so the Canaanites lived in Gezer among them.
3) Their pride continually got them in trouble. They showed their pride, jealously, and self-centeredness when Jephthah chose to fight (and defeat) the Ammonites without the aid of the proud Ephraim warriors. A civil war erupted resulting in 42,000 warriors from Ephraim being killed.
4) He also condemned “Israel”, meaning the Ten Tribes, “because they sold the righteous for silver” (Amos 1; 4-6).
Punishment Lifted
Israel’s punishment was seven years for every year they did not let the land rest. Israel’s punishment was 360 X 7 = 2520 years in fulfillment. If we count 2520 years from 718-721, we come to A.D. 1800-1803. America received the Louisiana Purchase in 1803. Her wealth and blessings took off from that point in history.
Ephraim in Prophecy
Ephraim will destroy Esau. Obadiah says that the House of Joseph shall destroy the House of Esau.
Obadiah 1:18 “AND THE HOUSE OF JACOB SHALL BE A FIRE, AND THE HOUSE OF JOSEPH A FLAME, AND THE HOUSE OF ESAU FOR STUBBLE AND THEY SHALL KINDLE IN THEM, AND DEVOUR THEM; AND THERE SHALL NOT BE ANY REMAINING OF THE HOUSE OF ESAU; FOR THE LORD HATH SPOKEN IT.”

Since Israel and Assyria were never allies in ancient biblical days, this argues for a latter-day fulfillment. Is Ephraim allied to modern Assyria? Yes. Assyria settled in the land of Germany. The British and Americans have made numerous “covenants” with Germany via NATO, the European Union, etc. Hosea 14:3 adds that a time will come when Ephraim will realize it should have relied on God instead of its covenant with Assyria. It prophesies Ephraim will say: “Asshur will not save us,” indicating it learns that security comes from God, not its alliances with other nations such as Assyria.
Isaiah 27:12-13 prophesies that: “in that day…you shall be gathered one by one, O ye children of Israel…the great trumpet shall be blown, and they shall come which were ready to perish in the land of Assyria and the outcasts in the land of Egypt, and shall worship the Lord in the holy mount at Jerusalem.”
Proof Scotland is Judah
It was prophesied that Ephraim and Manasseh would go to war against Judah. This has happened many times. The Milesians who settled Ireland were a tribe of Judah. We know the Irish people moved into the land of Scotland. For further proof see our teaching on the Trojan Kings. Ephraim and Manasseh both lived in the land of Britain and for many centuries went to war with Scotland. Also many of the Scottish Irish people moved to America and settled in the Mountains of Tennessee. The American Civil War was a war between Ephraim in the north and Judah in the South!!
Isa_9:21 Manasseh, Ephraim; and Ephraim, Manasseh: and they together shall be against Judah. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.

Except that is what it says. (Gen. 49:1) "And Jacob called unto his sons, and said, Gather yourselves together that I may tell you which shall befall you in the last days."

If You wish to think of the last couple of hundred years as the "Last Days", then I'll agree.
But if You are trying to say that the "Blessings are to be bestowed upon Ephraim, & Manasseh during the "Time of Yacob's Trouble"/ "The Tribulation",Then You Truly have a Major misunderstanding of the Prophecies concerning Ephraim & Manasseh Quantril.
The Tribulation period precedes the Millennial period. The Millennial period is where the blessings are enjoyed. It only precedes the Tribulation by 7 years. Look at (Isaiah 2:1-5) where 'last days' of Israel speaks to the Millennial reign of Christ "And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the LORD's house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.....and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more."
Daniel is given revelation as to what shall happen to Israel in the latter days. The term 'latter days' when addressed to Israel, appears to speak of the Tribulation period. Where as 'last days' speak to the blessings of the Kingdom or Millennial reign. (Dan. 10:14) "Now I am come to make thee understand what shall befall thy people in the latter days: for yet the vision is for many days."
(Dan. 12:1) "And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book."
We know this speaks to the future Tribulation period. (Matt. 24:21) "For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be."
(Deut. 4:30) "When thou art in tribulation, and all these things are come upon thee, even in the latter days, if thou turn to the LORD thy God, and shalt be obedient unto his voice;"
In (Rev. 7:4) 12 tribes of Israel are listed. Twelve thousand from each tribe making up the 144,000. Manasses is listed. (7:6) Epharaim is not. Dan is not. And Joseph is. (7:8) Thus Joseph must replace Ephraim, and be the tribe of Ephraim, as those of Manasses would not make up the tribe of Joseph as it is already listed.

Seven year Tribulation first, followed by the 1000 year Millennial reign of Christ.

For one,.... You are going to be hotly disputed by the "Levites" who make up the "Temple Institute" that is now ready to build the Third Temple, They zealously claim to accurately know their Ancestry.
Secondly,...... Do You reject all physical evidence, such as Artifacts, DNA, etc.? If so You are going to have another hotly disputed debate with the paleoanthropologists of the world.
