Musk fires 50% of Twitter workers, makes other changes.. Can anyone answer this Q I have?

It's always revealing when the children say "we".

It identifies them as mindless. I was tempted to say "mindless individuals", but there is no individuality among them.
Whatever dude. I don’t worship Elmo like a lot of the mindless children. He’s a weird dude getting high on his own cult following and got cornered into buying Twitter based on an impulse rather than rationality.

Looks like Musk is destroying twitter. You can bet the the 50% of workers left are all out looking for a new job.

If twitter isn't shutdown within a year, it will degenerate to just a wingnut echo chamber...then it can compete with 'Truth Social'

He overpaid for Twitter

An arbitrary cut of 50 percent without considering function and value added does not make you stronger.

King is a shell of the person he used to be. Donald Trump well and truly broke him, like he did to many leftists, and pretty much all King does these days is obsess over Trump on Twitter.

King still puts out a Best Seller every year

His books are more popular than Art of the Deal which Trump not only didn’t write, he never read it

So far, so bad.

Yeah. He is losing ad revenue already. His idea for 20 bucks a month (if that was even true) is gone and might be replaced by 9 buck a month, but not enough people will pay that to make up for lost ad revenue.

Rightwinger has the answer...work your normal hours and if he fires you then you can sue the company for trying to force OT on you....especially if they were not willing to pay OT rates.
Okay. Go into the office, work business hours on business days. No remote workers. No paid rest days. That's where the complaints are.

How do you know it's arbitrary?

Well, coming out with a flat 50 percent cut on the nose makes it arbitrary

If he did a detailed study and ended up cutting 48.2 percent of his employees, it would not be so obviously arbitrary

Paying for verification fundamentally misunderstands what verification is for.

It’s a benefit to Twitter, not to the users.

There will be no lost ad revenue. If the companies that Twitter banned come back it will more than make up for those that leave. Even those that leave will come back. It happened with Rush Limbaugh a number of times. Companies get over the outrage and come back.

King hasn't written anything decent since he got his head bashed in.

That accident definitely put an end to his career as a great writer. But really, once he got sober, his writing started to go downhill. The accident, and then his obsession with Trump, just finished him off completely. It's a sad story, I'm still a huge fan of his early work, he just let too many things get to him.

None of the "banned" companies can match the ad dollars of companies like Audi, General Motors, General Mills,
