Musk calls homelessness a "Lie and Propaganda."

I have two nephews who were born into a rich family. They just can't relate to a poor person. If you can't relate to the masses, you should not be president.

Now if you were poor and became a millionaire, that's different.

Is that why you're a poor loser?
Musk took all your money? Both dollars?

The Top 1% of Americans Have Taken $50 Trillion From the Bottom 90%—And That's Made the U.S. Less Secure

"The Top 1% of Americans Have Taken $50 Trillion From the Bottom 90%..."

"This is not some back-of-the-napkin approximation.

"According to a groundbreaking new working paper by Carter C. Price and Kathryn Edwards of the RAND Corporation, had the more equitable income distributions of the three decades following World War II (1945 through 1974) merely held steady, the aggregate annual income of Americans earning below the 90th percentile would have been $2.5 trillion higher in the year 2018 alone.

"That is an amount equal to nearly 12 percent of GDP—enough to more than double median income—enough to pay every single working American in the bottom nine deciles an additional $1,144 a month. Every month. Every single year."

The bottom 90% had $50 trillion? When?

How did the top 1% take it? Gunpoint? IRS?

Or did they "force" people to buy their products and services? Who are the top 3 offenders?

"This is not some back-of-the-napkin approximation.

No kidding. This was clearly pulled out of someone's ass.

Had monkeys flown out of your butt, you could have had a more comfortable retirement.
So what?

Big numbers ahead:

"This work seeks to quantify the scale of income gap created by rising inequality compared to a counterfactual in which growth was shared more broadly.

"We introduce a time-period agnostic and income-level agnostic measure of inequality that relates income growth to economic growth.

"This new metric can be applied over long stretches of time, applied to subgroups of interest, and easily calculated.

"We document the cumulative effect of four decades of income growth below the growth of per capita gross national income and estimate that aggregate income for the population below the 90th percentile over this time period would have been $2.5 trillion (67 percent) higher in 2018 had income growth since 1975 remained as equitable as it was in the first two post-War decades.

"From 1975 to 2018, the difference between the aggregate taxable income for those below the 90th percentile and the equitable growth counterfactual totals $47 trillion."

"We further explore trends in inequality by applying this metric within and across business cycles from 1975 to 2018 and also by demographic group."

LOL!

So what?

If the rest of the world hadn't rebuilt after WW2, US workers would be wealthier.

OMG!

That's awful!

As a nation we must quit portraying very poor people as a drain on society. They cause zero economic issues.

So you think they're a drain on the nation? Why?

Right.
Europe and Japan rebuild between 1945-1973 and the US average income in the highest quintile was 165% higher in 2021 than it was in 1981.
The rising financialization of the U.S. economy harms workers and their families, threatening a strong recovery

"This rise in inequality has been attributed to many different factors including technological advancement, decline in union membership, and globalization.5

"This study does not seek to explain why inequality has increased but, instead, describes how income has changed from 1975 to the present for different demographic groups and individuals across the income distribution.

"We establish key facts about the evolution of these distributions that can be used to help future studies explore plausible causes and implications of rising inequality.

"Given that, as shown in Figure 1, the turning point for inequality in income growth in the U.S. was the 1975-1979 business cycle, our discussion will examine the U.S. since 1975."

More MSN socialist propaganda? The election is over lefties. It's time to join the majority and try to make America great again.

And most are not convicted Felons...ahem....trump.

Think of how many Americans live parasitic lifestyles. If hey were forced out, they wouldn’t know what to do. I’m no talking about people under 18. They don’t count.

Think of all the young girls alone. The plan for her is to hook her up with a man who hopefully has a job with insurance so she can have a baby and stay home and care for it.

Here’s the thing that bothers me about social services, social programs, welfare, food stamps, if it didn’t exist, the persons family would have to take care of them. I knew a girl 17 she got knocked up by a young dead beat. Her family told her to go sign up for all the services.

A part of me says people would figure it out if the government weren’t there to fall back on. And too many people could figure it out but choose to seek free shit and fight to stay on it.
My step granddaughter did the same thing. Got pregnant at 17 and had lived on welfare her entire life. She is always screaming about the rich not paying a fair share and how she has never gotten a tax break. She has never paid taxes in her entire life and she's 40.

If you want me to turn on the poor, introduce me to one of them. Yea, they are pathetic. Bad attitudes. Victim mentality.

I bet she voted for Trump. A lot of people who feel disenfranchised by government love Trump. I know lots of welfare people who support Trump. When I explain Republicans will cut their benefits and ask them why they voted GOP they say "IDK, it was time for change".

She doesn't vote.

This is what Musk said
Homeless is a misnomer. It implies that someone got a little bit behind on their mortgage, and if you just gave them a job, they’d be back on their feet,” he told former Fox News personality Tucker Carlson in October. “What you actually have are violent drug zombies with dead eyes, and needles and human feces on the street.”

He is absolutely correct.

He needed to include people like my parents who simply enjoyed being homeless.
