Preventing stupid people from voting would be a good thing.

So would taking away an incentive for blue staters to move to Texas.

They move here to get the benefits of economic and perssonal freedom in Texas, and - some of them - immediately start complaining because our taxes are "too low" and our welfare doesn't pay as well as California. They misunderstand cause and effect.
