I'm not saying that these guys who are leading this aren't religious, I'm saying their primary focus in all of this is very similar to almost all other "freedom fighters"/"terrorists"..
Our Founders were freedom fighters too, but they did not want to establish a Nazi caliphate, they wanted to establish a very very limited govt so we could be free of govt.
Get it? Some want freedom from all govt; some want freedom only from the current govt so they can impose their own equally or more powerful govt.
Please post on fridge for daily review.
YEah, the founders wanted you to be free of the govt, but then they produced a gun totting govt that goes around the world messing it up, providing arms to people, invading others, removing leaders from other places.
Many see the US as satanic, and to be honest they're not too wrong. The US has caused plenty of death and misery in the world.
I could start with things like the World Bank going around the world, offering money to do terrible things, which corrupt leaders will do because they just want the money.

"
In February and March of 2000, protests broke out in Cochabamba, Bolivia, in response to the skyrocketing price of water. Many people saw their bills triple or even quadruple, just weeks after Aguas del Tunari, a private company owned by London-based multinational International Water Ltd., took over the city’s water system."
Privatization of Water in Bolivia
"In the 1990s, under World Bank guidance, the water systems of some of Bolivia’s poorest regions were put up for sale to private investors. In the area of Cochabamba, a US-owned company, Bechtel, was awarded a long-term contract to manage and deliver water in that region."
"Many were unable to pay such high rates, and even though water was now available to them, they couldn’t access it because they couldn’t afford it."
Then you have situations where the US helped to topple a democratically elected leader in Hugo Chavez in 2002 (which ultimately failed), while supporting undemocratic countries which treat human rights like a floor mat, such as Saudi Arabia.
Then you have wars, interference in other countries, like Iraq.
