I really like the tone of your post.

There are some 100 million illegals living and WORKING, successfully, in this country (know why you have to press #1 for English) and that's just what the Democrats....and a lot of Republicans, too.....want. The Dems want votes because nearly all of the illegals have fake documentation.

Even the legislation to crack down on illegals asks if they have been here more than 5 years....most have...and have no criminal record.

I have always thought that envy should be acceptable If you use it to better yourself so you can earn more. As opposed to demanding that the gov't arbitrarily redress inequalities so you get more without doing more. I suspect that Mamdani's voters want more without earning it.

President Oam most likely is referring to any government contributions like for trains expanding the west and interstate highways. Unfortunately, the costs of those are pennies compared to today for all of the programs we have, and we cannot go further without becoming totally socialist and communist. The federal government alone is 25% of the gross domestic product with 2 trillion-dollar yearly deficits. Include state, city and local entities and monopolies and we are a high tax country.

The power must grow. The denials will be far and wide in many issues. Yet here we are from the denials of the past decades. There is a point where the agendas become negative. The socialism in northern euro nations realized that a couple of decades ago. We are the top country, and our luxury of wealth may be more, yet we do not have time to keep experimenting. China is not the Soviet Union. They must laugh at us with their influence with the waste of resources we have.
