Who are the marketing wizards working for PETA that are coming up with these ridiculous ideas? The Virgin Mary holding a lifeless chicken? Come on, they are not persueding anybody to there ideals.

I must say, I don't get why this is offensive. What's so wrong with depicting the Virgin Mary wanting to help animals. I'm not so sure that the catholic church has many moral legs to stand on at this point!

I believe most people associate the image of the Virgin Mary with baby Jesus. Instead, PETA injects a dead chicken in to the picture.
Seems a little bad taste IMHO.

its really no different from when they had a billboard of clay aikens with somthing about getting neutured, it didnt hurt me.

sure he bitched about it, but i think that was about it.
