Two good guys with guns r science a 9 year old kidnapping victim:

Naw, one held the uncle at gun point while the other went to notify police. No one tell 2AGuy, but this was a good use of a gun by a citizen.

That's where most mass shootings take place, of course. The crooks know the law-abiding citizens have been disarmed there. Easy pickings for those who want lurid headlines and high body counts.

Interesting question. Since way more people are killed in accidental shootings than mass shootings I would guess quite a few lives.
