The thread isn't about gays. It's about making pro athletes endorse a political position. Do you think pro sports should be a platform to promote a political position? You are the one who brought up gays, seems like you want to be recognized.

I bet she would think differently if the put crosses on every hat and made the players wear it.The hat is not the uniform it is an added endorsement of something they find sinful.
And Pride is not pride.
The capital letter means something.
Sorry, but your hypocrisy on "treating others well" falls flat when you want to ruin or kill people who disagree with you
I bet she would think differently if the put crosses on every hat and made the players wear it.
No, I don't sit around worrying about what gay folks are doing or going. What gay folks are doing doesn't affect my life.Shooting the messenger, are ya?
I didn't realize gay was a political position, since gays vote for Dems and Repubs. The thread isn't about gays. It's about making pro athletes endorse a political position. Do you think pro sports should be a platform to promote a political position?
Gays can be proud of themselves without anyone's assitance. Making the players wear a gay pride statement on their uniform is a political statement.I didn't realize gay was a political position, since gays vote for Dems and Repubs.
Good for you. Now tell tell MLB not to make the players endorse "gay pride" on their unis. What gay folks are doing doesn't affect my life.
I've only gone to a handful of MLB games--A's and Giants, but we had a farm team in our town that I used to take my daughter to see. We really enjoyed those games. The Spokane Indians are the closest we have now--haven't been to any of their games, but I want to take the granddaughters so that they can have the experience..
Hubby and I used to be huge Mariners fans, but hubby became demented in 2020 and I gave up the sport on opening day 2020, when they all started chalking "BLM" on their mounds.
We have a farm league team in Sioux Falls, but I've not been to one of their games.
.
Spokane is heavy into the pride garbage. I just stay out of the city and county during the month of June--if they want to promote degeneracy, they can do it without my money.Seems it's the gay folks that want you talking about the gay folks, hence, "Pride" month and "Pride" night at the baseball park
I'd like to know why the gays get a whole month and Veterans get one day.Spokane is heavy into the pride garbage. I just stay out of the city and county during the month of June--if they want to promote degeneracy, they can do it without my money.
Ahhhh shut the hell up. Let me guess, players refusing to stand for the national anthem, that’s freedom of expression.
They signed the contract.Against their will? That's not respect.
.. to play ball. Endorsing "gay pride".. or any other political view has nothing to do with the game. They signed the contract.
Better read the contract first.Compelled speech is not free speech.
The players should SUE MLB.![]()
I don't know why we are even publicly taking note of degenerate sexual preferences.I'd like to know why the gays get a whole month and Veterans get one day.
We are not, you are.I don't know why we are even publicly taking note of degenerate sexual preferences.

Why does Pride Month make YOU so crazy?
Ever since gay marriage was legalized in Canada, Pride activities have become more "family friendly", toning down the nudism, and openly sexualized behaviours of the early years.
Gay Pride isn't a "political event". It's a family celebration and the ability of gays to have basic human protections from discrimination and abuse. At least that's what it is where I live.
We live in a nation which celebrates their diversity, equity and inclusion. It's not a political wedge issue in Canada. We're a welcoming nation.
Here's an idea: Let's make our athletes wear a patch supporting "necrophelia pride". What necropheliacs do doesn't effect anyone else's life.
