Gay Pride isn't a "political event". It's a family celebration and the ability of gays to have basic human protections from discrimination and abuse. At least that's what it is where I live.

I've only gone to a handful of MLB games--A's and Giants, but we had a farm team in our town that I used to take my daughter to see. We really enjoyed those games. The Spokane Indians are the closest we have now--haven't been to any of their games, but I want to take the granddaughters so that they can have the experience.

I miss baseball, but pretty much in context of my relationship with hubby. Now that he's gone, it doesn't mean so much. Lost both him and baseball in the same year.

It would for sure BUT, when it comes to sports and boycotting, the right suck at it. Nothing is more important than sports to those who go there. They will pay a hundred bucks for a ticket, ten dollars for a beer, and five dollars for hot dogs and sodas, all so they can watch the game, queers or no queers.

And, I can't do anything about it myself because I already was boycotting sports because I refuse to support cry baby multi-millionaires. I don't even contribute to tv ratings. And, that is from someone who used to love sports and went to many games over the years. The bastards aren't going to drain me dry so they can make mulitmillions of dollars. Fluck 'em.
