Branson is fun but I wouldn’t want to live there. It’s a lot like Vegas. The lake is insane at this point. Million dollar condos with nothing more than 100 yards of steps to get you to your 10 feet of water line.

My two brothers and I used to go out on the Lake of the Ozarks boat docks in the off-season winter when the owners weren't there, and drink up all the beer and booze they had in their big boats.

I got popped for one joint one night in 1970 when I got stopped by a state trooper and ended up in the Tuscumbia jail. Another guy and I broke out of there one Sunday morning by prying the door open with a crowbar someone had smuggled into the jail. We wandered around in the woods for a day and a half before the state police caught us. I ended up getting a choice of five years or going into the US Army, which I did.

Yeah, I was pretty stupid when I was young.

It’s just stupid now. The entire thing is just Southwest moved a floor up and a quarter mile away instead of 100 feet. You can’t even get a direct flight from KC to fucking anywhere. They wanted an international airport when you can’t even get direct flights to anywhere in the US. It’s a joke but a lot of connected people made millions off of it.

Amendment 2, online gambling.

I’m a yes on this one. Every state around us has it so we’re missing out on revenue. The teachers seem to be whining they won’t actually get the money it will just go to the general fund and to be honest I hope the teachers don’t get a dime. I’m tired of their bullshit. Constantly begging for more money and then performing worse after getting it. They have shit loads of money. They need to dump the unions and spend it wisely. There’s no shortage of cash, huge shortage of performance.

More money in the general fund can help eliminate our use tax which is ridiculous.

I’m voting yes.

my guess is they will do the same thing they did with river boat gambling where they screwed the schools out of money,,

they presented it like the schools were getting additional money and what they did is just replaced the money they were getting with gambling money,,

I agree and honestly don’t care. I do want the money tracked and not spent on stupid pet projects but I’ve had enough of the it’s for the schools sales pitch. The schools have plenty of money.

Unions. Government employee unions need to be banned again.

Let’s do amendment three. The abortion amendment. Which pretty much makes us a child murder state and our tax dollars will pay for it. No limit to the timing of an abortion it’s right up until birth. Our taxes will pay for those abortions. There is no legal recourse if the baby is born alive or if the woman is killed during the process the child murder mills are immune.
