Learning much more about suspect Boelter after speaking with his roommates in Minneapolis.

He rented a room in the home on Freemont Ave N and would stay here for a few days a month while working, with main family home in Green Isle.

His security company was still an idea and wasn’t off the ground yet. His roommate indicated he was dealing with some financial issues/stress.

He returned to the home around 6 am, texting his roommates something to the effect of “I made some bad choices and don't want to implicate you, but I may be dead soon.”

He then went to the back alley where his additional vehicles were parked.

Roommate has known him for 40-plus years. He said Boelter didn’t express a lot of strong political views, but held strong views on abortion.
