This week, Minnesota Democrat leaders assigned ONLY Democrats to the Public Safety Omnibus conference committee to decide the final language of the massive Public Safety Omnibus bill. Usually, members of both parties get to participate in the final crafting of language.

The final bill, which will soon come up for a vote in the Democrat controlled House and Senate, contains insane language that protects "sexual attachment to children by an adult" while removing language that identified pedophilia as "not a protected class."

Here's the backstory. HF447, the House Civil Law Policy Bill, was debated and passed on April 26th. That bill had a section in it which got rid of current Minnesota law that stated "sexual orientation does not include a physical or sexual attachment to children by an adult." In other words, the passage of the bill with that language intact, would allow courts and others to interpret pedophilia as a legitimate sexual orientation.

That amendment received unanimous support by both Parties and the final bill was passed with full Democrat support.


Your link then goes on to explain that HF 447 was rolled into a larger bill, 2909. Your link also said the "not a protected class" amendment was not carried over. They then make a batshit asshole claim this is proof Democrats love pedos.

But here's the thing, rube. You didn't read either bill, did you.

That bill has all kinds of stuff about civil property laws.

That's a big omnibus bill.

Do you know why the "not a protected class" amendment isn't necessary in that bill?

Because it outlines in very specific detail the criminal laws surrounding adults who have sex with minors. HF 447 does not.

In addition to the laws surround sex crimes, any which are committed against minors are amplified into "Aggravated Violations".

The law goes into very specific details about sex with minors. Go and see for yourself.

So you see, rube, the "not a protected class" is completely unnecessary in the omnibus bill. Not only are child molesters not a protected class in SF2909, they are punished for being child molesters.


When the Democrats pass this law, I hope you have the integrity to come back here and congratulate them for protecting children.
